WHO IS FIRMA?
Founded and owned by Richard Danao, a Repertory Philippines Stage Manager and Markus Schmidt, a successful German businessman who made the Philippines his home in 1995.
Markus and Richard also founded the very popular and very swank FIDEL Bistro Lounge as well as co-founded the iconic Sala and People's Palace Restaurants, which were then located on Nakpil Street in Malate.HISTORY OF FIRMA…
Firma Home Accessories' first store opened on the 5th of February in 2000 in the charming and contemporary neighborhood of Malate, Manila.
Firma was undoubtedly the trendsetter for an eclectic shopping experience and has then inspired dozens of similar shops all over the metro creating this all-embracing vibe. This concept of an electic mix of owner-operated; hands-on restaurants, shops, clubs, bars and al fresco dining staying open till the wee hours created a niche market that has but inspired the Greenbelt Malls in Makati.
From the very beginning, Firma sourced all of their items from all over the world but have then branched out to designing and making lamps as well as home and fashion accessories with that very distinct and unmistakable Firma touch.THE FIRMA TOUCH
Until 2005, Firma exclusively sold their products to the Philippine market but since then, they have expanded into exporting to overseas clients when they had decided to exhibit their collection at Manila Fame in April 2005 thus beginning to attract an array of multifaceted clients from all over the world.
Their collection has then since grown from a few decorative native shell tassels to a much larger and wider range that is centralized around the tassel and now includes floor, table and wall lamps, ceiling decorations and home and table accessories that are truly inspiring and elegant.
Since exporting, Firma now has a worldwide clientele that include the Landmark group from the Middle East, L'oca Nera from Italy, Tradingpost in Portugal, Fink in Germany and many more from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.
Firma participates every year in MANILA FAME, MANILA NOW as well as other trade shows in Germany such as AMBIENTE and TENDENCE and of course the MEGA SHOW in Hong Kong.FIRMA STORES…
Locally, Firma items are available at Firma's store at the Rustan's Department Store in Makati. The Hyatt and Manila Hotel Lobby shops and the world-famous Amanpulo Resort. And of course at FIRMA's own show room in Malate. Located at unit 12, North Syquia, 1991 MH del Pilar St.

Their latest project is the urban destination spa and restaurant, Tian-Di that will surely captivate and arrest the eye.
